Dirty Dancing at the wedding!

St Pauls Church, Langleybury saw Kerrie Fenton and Dexter Burns wed on the 25th May 2013

I wore a stunning strapless, laced backed gown by Maggie Sottero which I could add halter neck straps to for the evening.

Dexter wore a traditional morning suit with an ivory waistcoat and pomegranate coloured tie.

Both Dexter and I have very big families. Dexter has four sisters, one niece and three nephews whilst I have four sisters, twelve nieces and nephews.

So, on our wedding day we had eleven bridesmaids, nine page boys, nine ushers and two Best men!

To ensure everyone got to the church on time we hired a big red old style Routemaster bus but I arrived traditionally late!

The bridesmaids wore strapless Alfred Angelo dresses in pomegranate whilst the grooms men, page boys, ushers and father of bride wore Morning suits from Impeccable, Hatch End.

I wanted a traditional theme with pomegranate coloured flowers so we had rose and gerbera arrangements by RD Floral Design and our reception, which was held at the Bushey Metropolitan Police Club, was beautifully decorated by Just Smile; both companies I would recommend highly.

My aunt, Anna Fenton, flew over from Spain especially to make my wedding cake for us! Our amazing day ended with everyone on the dance floor singing Never Forget by Take That – it was epic!

Our DJ was also from Just Smile and he played Dirty Dancing - I even managed the Dirty Dancing lift! For our honeymoon we went to Aruba which was amazing!

Our photographer was James Ward from James Ward photography and I can honestly say, he was fabulous from start to finish. He captured the whole day beautifully! I would definitely recommend him.
