Capturing your wedding on screen is something you can treasure forever

A wedding video is a wonderful keepsake of your wedding day and we’ve never met a bride who’s regretted splashing out and having one done. In years to come, it’s fantastic to bring your special day back to life in a way that photographs can’t, so we’d thoroughly recommend hiring a videographer if you’ve got the budget.

When you’ve chosen your videographer, it’s important that you keep them informed of your plans as they’re going to be responsible for capturing the highlights, and more, of your wedding day.

If possible, arrange for them to come to the venue prior to the big day, so they can assess the layout, lighting, powerpoints for recharging and meet the officials. As with your photographs, it’s useful for the videographer if you can provide them with a list of the key moments you want capturing, such as the exchange of rings or cutting the cake.

Some couples also like to include interviews on their video, particularly with guests. If you want the videographer to conduct the interview, then you should give them a small list of fun questions, such as, ‘What do you think  Emma loves most about Bill?’
