Victoria & David
Victoria and David held their ceremony and reception at the Great Hallingbury Manor Hotel, Bishops Stortford on the 26th October 2014
The idyllic Great Hallingbury Manor Hotel provided the perfect venue for this couple’s rustic autumnal wedding theme.
‘I wanted warm colours with wooden tree slices and candles as centre pieces’, explained Victoria, who wore a boat neck, full skirt bridal gown by True.
A chance meeting in a Newcastle nightclub was the start of a long distance relationship for Victoria and David (Victoria lived in Southend on sea – 300 miles away!) and this became a theme for their wedding.
David’s dad, John Coatsworth, a well-known artist painted a table plan using the major roads from Southend to Newcastle and the couple used road signs for table names.
‘Our son Joshua was born in 2010 and we are so proud of him.
He was fantastic during the wedding although he did get a bit fed up of posing for photos!’ said Victoria.
‘I’d like to say a big thank you to my mum and sister for all their hard workand for collecting all the donuts the day before the wedding when they got stuck in traffic for 3 hours!’
