Tanya & Wayne
Tanya & Wayne got married on the 1st June 2017 at Newland Hall
Wayne proposed to Tanya in front of the Statute of Liberty, New York, with a ring he had designed himself with the help of a friend at Solitaire, Turkey.
It was therefore fitting that the couple returned there for their bespoke wedding rings.
With their ceremony and reception being held at the Grade II Tudor Manor House, Newland Hall which is set in 100 acres of countryside; the couple wanted to continue with a rustic country theme for their wedding.
“As it was a summer wedding I wanted it to look bright and colourful with a romantic, vintage style and a contemporary twist,” says Tanya. “I made the Mr & Mrs sign and the sweet table.
We hung coral Pom Poms from the trees and 4 sparkly gold stars to represent our lost grandparents.”
Tanya surprised Wayne with a signed and framed Tottenham picture of the last North London Derby and their best men surprised the couple with a personalised letter of wedding day congratulations from Mauricio Pochettino, the Spurs manager!
“We had a magician, Lee Murray, during the day and the resident DJ in the evening.” explained Tanya.
“It was all amazing but the moment that I walked out of the doors and down the red carpet to declare my love to my husband I just felt the luckiest and proudest woman in the world.”
“From the minute we met Nicola and Scott, from Goldlight Photography, I knew that they had to be our photographers. They are so friendly and will go along with any ideas that you have about how you want to be photographed. I am in love with my wedding photographs and its all thanks to them.”
