Vintage & Lace

A Thai honeymoon followed Stephanie and Lee Moore's vintage wedding day on the 25th August 2013

Stephanie and Lee met at the Oceana night club when he and his friend, Rob, tried to talk to Stephanie and her friend, Bethany.

It was a case of mistaken identity when Lee texted the next day calling her Bethany as he couldn't remember who was who!

On Christmas Day 2010, Lee surprised Stephanie with one late present which was hidden on the Christmas tree.

As she sat down to unwrap the box, thinking it was earrings, Lee got down on one knee and proposed!

Stephanie wore Ugalde by Pronovias, the top could be removed in the evening for a different look. Pearl drop earrings and bracelet completed her vintage style.

Lee and his grooms men wore navy slim fit suits with a coral pink silk cravat and handkerchief. To continue the colour theme the bridesmaid's wore coral maxi dresses with jewellery by Glitzy Secrets.

The theme was vintage, pearl and lace with a pop of colour. The ceremony and reception was held at the beautiful Orangery, Whittlebury Park.

Favours were vintage sweet bags filled with a mixture of retro sweets;  they scattered tea lights and pearls on the tables and a birdcage was used as a post box for guest's cards.

'Finally, we all danced to an Oasis song and then took a golf buggy to the Whittlebury Hall bar to carry on drinking! recalls Stephanie.

'We honeymooned in Thailand, visiting Bangok and Koh Samui.'

'Maria Barry did a fantastic job and she got some amazing photos of us,' recalls Stephanie. 'She put everyone at ease.'
