Simon & Beth

On a hot summer’s day Simon married Beth in Bottisham Church on the 7th July 2018

Our main desire for the day was for our guests to have an amazing time so as we made plans we kept this in mind opting for a simple, elegant look with elements of fun thrown in.

My maiden name is Greenall, as in the gin, so for our wedding favours each guest received a token so they could select their own Greenall G&T with favourite Fevertree tonic and garnish.

Simon’s surname is Goodyear! So, it was a must to have a giant Scalextric race track for our guests to play on.

The track was fully decorated with all the Goodyear branding imaginable and even had a Goodyear blimp floating overhead.

To keep the children entertained during the speeches I made fun packs of colouring books, pencils and sweets.

I didn’t want a traditional gown so when I tried on my Essence of Australia dress with its gorgeous layer of lace with tulle overlay I knew it was the one – very dreamy and romantic especially as I wore my mum’s veil which was the perfect accessory.

Our day was filled with wonderful surprises and memories.

My bridesmaids presented me with a book titled ‘Letters to the Bride’.

All the ladies who attended my hen do had written me a letter as well as my Mum, Dad, brother and Simon. It was so special and thoughtful.

I surprised Simon with a pair of Raybans personalised with Goodyear and our wedding date on each arm (I got a pair for myself too) and we wore them on the day and on honeymoon!

Lastly, thank you to our photographer, David, for being so easy to work with and our photos are stunning.
