Ricole & Josh
Their ceremony was held at the Parish Church of St John the Baptist, Royston on the 1st September, 2018
I wore a soft lace, strapless St Patrick gown from Burr Bridal, Cambridge; however, the gown had a central split which I closed and I added a lace off the shoulder jacket for the church ceremony.
Ready for the first dance I removed the jacket and opened the split; it made me feel as though I had two amazing dresses for my day.
Our reception was at the beautiful Queen Anne style country house, Burloes Hall which enjoys stunning views of the chalk hills and has generous lawns.
The pole marquee was just perfect, so I wanted to keep to classic neutral colours with lots of white flowers, green foliage and personal details.
Our wedding favours were personalised candles; we chose the scent and created the crest for them.
To keep the children amused through the speeches, we hired a nanny from Whirligig Parties and a sweet cart from Scrumdiddlyyumptious.
Although Josh and I don’t have a favourite moment; we must thank our amazing best men who, with the help of all our parents, put together a brilliant slide show of Josh and I growing up which they tied into their speeches.
The whole day goes past so fast and you love every minute.
Liz, our photographer, made the day fun so we forgot about the camera all together. She captured some amazing moments and all the little details that meant so much.
