A Brill wedding!

Rachel Alley and Dean Brill married on the 8th June 2013 in a stunning church ceremony at St George's church, Toddington.

Rachel and Dean first met at a friend's BBQ where Dean mentioned to Rachel that she had a 'lovely face' and asked her out. Although she declined his offer that day they later became Facebook friends and romance blossomed.

In time the couple moved in together and bought a beautiful black Labrador puppy which they named Milo.

One evening Rachel arrived home to find a candle filled room and Dean down on one knee with Milo. After accepting Dean's proposal she called all her family but they all knew of Dean's idea and had been keeping it secret from Rachel.

'I called my Granddad and asked if he would give me away', recalls Rachel. 'And, of course, he said yes!'

Rachel wore a stunning fit and flare vintage Justin Alexander wedding gown while Dean wore full morning suit with ivory cravat from Fogarty Formal Hire, Leighton Buzzard.

'We had thirteen Grooms men all in morning suits', explained Rachel, 'My three bridesmaids were my cousin, Dean's sister and my best friend. My Maid-of-honour was my only sister Rebecca and all the girls wore dresses by Dessy.

The Mother-of-the-Bride and-Groom wore Nigel Rayment outfits.'

'In order to remember my Nan and have her with me on my wedding day I had a photograph of her in my bouquet of flowers', Rachel told us.

'A lovely surprise was that after the service Milo was outside waiting for me in a bow tie!'

After the church service the guests arrived for the marquee reception at the beautifully kept grounds of the Luton Hoo Estate's private Walled Garden to be met by a Saxophonist playing a medley of all the couples favourite songs.

Whilst champagne and canapés were served they had the opportunity to mingleand take advantage of various fun garden games the couple had provided.

Rachel wanted a vintage feel for the reception which she created with the use of large candles and little lace and crystal touches.

Other little extras were a sweet shop and a photo booth from 'Booth Barmy' which proved to be a huge hit with all the guests!

'We had personalised bath bombs as favours for the ladies and personalised match boxes for men', recalls Rachel.

During the evening the guests enjoyed a live band with a DJ before Dean and Rachel said their farewells and were whisked away to a night of luxury at the Luton Hoo Hotel.

'My sister organised an amazing hen do for me,' Rachel told us, 'Twenty seven girls in Magaluf. I had my own scooter with flashing pink lights and a 'Rachel' sign on the front!

She brought it out in the evening of the wedding when the hen do girls and stag boys were having a dance off!'

The couple honeymooned at Lake Garda, Italy but it wasn't complete without having Milo present so the couple took him to Devon for a mini-moon on their return.

'Our photographer was David from PP Imaging and he was amazing!' enthused Rachel. 'I have already recommended him to every one of my friends as he is so lovely and has done an amazing job not just on my wedding day but with providing us with a brilliant album.'
