Make your flower budget work

Start by making a list of your favourite flowers then bring the jazz element to your floral displays with some abstract shapes and wow foliage.

Work with your florist and dare to do things a little differently.

Style your tables with fun contrasting touches; jars filled with delicious apples, mix in tartan napkin ties and woven heart keepsakes for place settings.

Always keep to a clear colour palette and by using vases, jugs, glasses and bowls of differing heights you’ll create a depth to your centrepieces and the whole effect will work perfectly.

Don’t be afraid to ‘recycle’ your flowers – posies used at the ceremony or tied to church pews can be collected by your witnesses or ushers and moved through to your reception.

The bridal bouquet and bridesmaids flowers laid on the drinks table or cake table will add instant impact and ensure you get the best from your flower budget.
