London Bridal Fashion Week
Top International names unveiled their 2020 at renowned trade show London Bridal Fashion Week incorporating White Gallery, the UK's leading bridal fashion event.
So, let's take a look at what's trending...
One of the key trends to emerge was sleeves...from Danit Levi and Ivory & Co we had short sleeves, perfect for the summer bride.
While Herve Paris, Lillian West and Morilee showcased how versatile long sleeves can be, with cuffs and flutes.
It was fabulous to see the halterneck dress on the catwalk this season. We saw beaded necklines from Allure Bridals, Eternity, Ronald Joyce and Coya Collection while Vicotia Sanders' featured a flower print dress with frilled halterneck.
This is perfect for the bride looking for something less traditional, but still on-trend.
Tulle was prominent this season, with many layering the fabric for maximum effect. It was showcased in the traditional sense with large layers flowing from the waistline down yet Dandon London and Tiffanys featured the fabric as part of a mermain/trumpet silhouette to great effect.
Separates first appeared in 2017 and are here to stay!
We saw cropped tops and trousers to suit the growing number of boho (& possibly mid-drift baring) brides.
While Eliza Jane Howell and Peony Rice did offer separates perfect for the more conservative bride.
For the bride who dares there was the feathered gown.
Danit Levi feathered the edge of their high leg split while Eliza Jan Howell featured peacock feathers in a showstopping gown!
Peony Rice, Ronald Joyce and Eternity Bridal creayed dramatic effect with feathered boleros.
