Paul & Hannah

This lovely couple married at Braxted Park, Witham on the 2nd December 2017

Paul and I met on Benfleet train station platform.same place each morning and kept glancing at each other. Until one day when the trains were cancelled and we started chatting about the rubbish service. After that Paul bought me a cup of tea each day from the platform café. It only took him another 4 weeks to ask me out!

As we were getting married at Braxted Park in the winter time, we wanted a cosy, glittery theme that would let us go to town on the decorations and lighting.

I love weddings with the ‘wow’ factor, and as the pavilion was beautifully decorated it looked truly magical.

My mum made personalised champagne bottle favours and Paul’s dad was extremely generous with the bar which all our guests definitely enjoyed!

We really wanted everyone to feel included and looked after throughout the day.

For a little personalisation I had extra flowers added to the bodice of my gown which was designed by Maggie Sottero and called Bianca; with it I wore a cathedral length veil edged with lace.

Paul looked handsome in a Ted Baker morning suit which had a lovely peacock feather patterned lining for a touch of something extra special.

My favourite moment of the day was when my mum walked me down the aisle to Clare de Lune by Debussy played by a string quartet.

It’s my favourite piece of music and the emotion of the day really hit me.

Our photographer, Tina from Tina Wing Photography, was lovely.

She had so much imagination with the photos she took and really captured our day, the venue and the glorious December sunset.
