Emma & Sean

Emma and Sean married at the Southchurch Hall and celebrated their reception at the Ocean Beach, Southend-on-Sea on Saturday 5th September 2015

The Mori Lee sweetheart neckline gown, I wore, had a sparkly bodice with a long elegant train.

Sean wore a blue Ted Baker suit, cream waistcoat and cravat with fun Scrabble cufflinks; one ‘E’ and one ‘S’!

We went for a casual beachy vintage theme with lots of bunting and use of pastel colours throughout.

There were lots of flowers on the tables with paper bags with sweets in as favours. We wanted a really casual, non-fussy, low key look.

To make sure all our loved ones were included in our day, we arranged photos of our parents’ and grandparents’ weddings.

For entertainment we had friends play acoustic guitar and piano during the main meal. They also DJ’d in the evening.

As part of his speech my Dad read out an email from my niece who was due to be born the day after on 6th September.

She apologised that she couldn’t be there but she was nice and comfy where she was. It was a really nice touch.

Our favourite moment was after the meal when we went out on the beach for some photos.

It was a beautiful afternoon and it was lovely to be outside with our friends and family on the beach.

Carruthers and Hobbs Photography were very professional and captured all the key moments.

Everyone has commented on the quality of the pictures they took on the day and we have already recommended them to friends currently in the process of planning their wedding.
