Ella & Nick

A reception at Le Talbooth, Dedham followed a ceremony at St Mary the Virgin church, Langham, for Ella and Nick on the 23rd August 2014

‘We didn’t have a theme for our wedding day so I just kept everything white and classic’, explained Ella.

‘I wanted to be able to look back in 10 years and the style to still be fresh. Our main concern was having a day for everyone to remember.’

Ella wore a stunning fishtail ivory gown by designer Maggie Sottero with royal blue Manolo Blahnik shoes; straight from SATC.

‘My bridesmaids made me!’ said Ella.

‘In the evening I gathered the train up on my gown and added a diamante sash and pulled the updo I had for the ceremony down ready to party.’

Nick and his Groomsmen all wore bespoke navy three-piece suits by Stephen Williamas of London.

'The best men’s speech was more of a show! They entered the marquee dressed as Nick and me to Nick’s DJ theme song so we knew what we were in for!’ said Ella.

Austin Drage and band ensured the dance floor was filled by 8pm and never emptied.

Ella, who works as a shoe fashion buyer, gave all the ladies ‘Tired Feet’ favour bags which held sandals with the couple’s name, wedding date and venue on.

‘By 10pm every women on the dance floor had them on including me!’

‘Dan Casson, our photographer, was amazing. We had a long phone call on the Wednesday before the wedding and went through all names of families and wedding party, at the time I didn’t know why this was of interest but it came into its own on the wedding day. All the children felt at ease as he was calling them by name!

He stayed on longer as he knew he would get more shots and we really appreciated that. I think I even saw him dancing at the end of the night!’
