Charlotte & Wesley

Friends since Secondary school Charlotte and Wesley held their ceremony and reception at Friern Manor Country Hotel, Brentwood on Saturday 29th August 2015

The ceremony and reception rooms were decorated with chair covers and pink sashes; each table had an oversized Martini glass as its centrepiece filled with roses and trailing ivy and the table was sprinkled with rose petals and crystals.

We used baby pink as our main colour scheme to give a fairytale feel to our day.

We based our table names on words that Wesley and I believe contribute to marriage; love, happiness, commitment, family and trust.

I wore a strapless organza and lace A-line gown by designer Sophia Tolli which was hand-trimmed with crystal sparkles with a chapel train and I felt like a princess.

Wesley looked stylish in a grey Moss Bros suit with pink tie and waistcoat.

There were some very unique and lovely surprises throughout our day which started with me receiving a beautiful Michael Kors watch and Thomas Sabo bracelet from Wesley; who surprised me further with doves that we released after our ceremony.

A pianist played throughout the ceremony and wedding breakfast but when it came to our first dance ‘Songs by Design’ had written a song especially for me and we used it for our first dance!

The whole day was completely amazing, perfect in every way and we couldn’t have asked for more. No words could ever describe the happiness felt on our special day.

Steve and Nick, our photographers captured everything with beautiful stunning photographs, and they were friendly and easy to work with.

I have an extra thank you for Steve as he kept me calm on my wedding morning making it fun and he did a fantastic job in helping the girls tighten my dress and secure my veil, which stayed in all day!
